Jacqui of the Woodlands asked me how I lost my weight and managed to keep it off after I had my baby Nikhil.

Jacqui,
Hi there! We'll I have to be honest a lot of it came off because of stress. Our son Nikhil is a heart baby and spent two months in the hospital. It was a very stressful time. I also pumped so that helped too. Now, I try to exercise daily by walking to the park with Nikhil.
Thanks for your email.

Dana from Houston has just opened a new business called "Sassy Sisters" and wants to know the best places to sell her apparel and accessories.

Dana,
Congratulations on your new business. I love the name! There are lots of places you may want to check out as far as boutiques but you way want to go to special shows and events including The Nutcracker Market, River Oaks Country Club and Second Baptist. I would get in contact with all the local country clubs and find out when their big events are taking place so you can reserve a spot!
Good luck,

Blanca was browsing the web and stopped by to give me a buzz...
Hi Roseann, just wanted to know if you know when the antiques show at Round Top, Texas will be held this year. I know it is held twice a year. Thanks, Blanca

Blanca,
Thanks for your e-mail it is twice a year once in the fall and the other in the spring. The next one is the first or second week in October. Just to go www.royersroundtop.com for more information. Royer's is one of the best restaurants in the country and is always heavily involved with the annual antique show, plus you can get a great meal.
All that shopping can work up an appetite.

Traci stopped by to ask a question...
What do you recommend for a stay long lip gloss that you can put on top of your lipstick...I've tried everything from Vitamin E to Vaseline.

Well, the best lip gloss I can recommend is "Lip Glass" by MAC. I even recommend MAC's lip gloss in colors such as "Oh, Baby" and "Explicit." Both of those I use on top of my lipstick!
Hope this helps!

Sarah dropped by to ask a question...
Best recommendation for a good eyebrow wax in Houston? I would like them professionally done, with shaping. Thanks Roseann! - Sarah

Ok, there are several places that I know of that do a really good job when it comes to eyebrow waxing. First, Tulip Nails in the Village, the owner's daughter does a great job and it's only $10. Other places I recommend are The Sanctuary Salon and Day Spa and Urban Retreat. They both have great people on staff and know how to shape eyebrows.
Hope this helps. -Roseann

Deanna stopped by to ask a question...
You have such a great sense of style, where do you go when you want to find the good bargains that I could try? I get tired of spending so much money at those cute boutiques in the Village; I would love to find a place that offers less expensive fashionable clothing... and I knew you would know! - Deanna

Deanna,
Thank you so much for the wonderful compliments. You made my day! I know what you mean about spending tons of money on clothing. Plus, I like to stay up with all the latest fashion trends and you know trends come and go. Ok, some of the places which I recommend are: "More than You can Imagine" on Buffalo Speedway Vicki Rizzo is the owner and she has some great things. I do like "Lot 8" in the Village. Chloe has good prices on her clothing. Also, you may have noticed Michelle Ngo on my website and on the fashion page. She's wonderful. She's an up and coming local designer and her price points are amazing! So, give her a buzz at 713-528-6075 or you can email her at teabymichelleN@yahoo.com.
Hope this helps, Roseann

Amber clicked and came by...
Hello! This is my first time on your site & I am looking for recommended spa's in the inner loop area - specifically for an eyebrow shaper. This probably sounds silly but I just got back from Chicago & had my eyebrows shaped by Cheryl Renella, owner & founder of Channing's Day Spa. She was fabulous. In order to maintain the look, she said I needed to find someone in Houston. Unfortunately, I've never had very good luck with the one's I've tried. Any suggestions Buzz Lady? Thanks! - Amber

Amber,
First of all thank you for checking out buzzlady.com And, hopefully you will visit us often. Your question is not a silly one. In fact, it's a great question EYEBROWS can make a world of difference in your look.
Here are my recommendations for spas inside the loop:
The Sanctuary Salon & Day Spa (Greenbriar @ Westheimer) Urban Retreat (San Felipe and also on Shepherd) Tulip Nails (Kirby in the Village)
All of these have excellent professionals that can do your eyebrows!
Hope this helps, -Roseann

Hello! do you ever plan on having a show highlighting stay at home moms who are houston area artists? i have a Wearable Silk Art business and im a stay at home mom (trying to make it!). i think this would be a good topic for your show and it would help out women artists!

Dennis was curious to know...
Did you like moving around a lot? Specifically, did you like Germany? I saw you went to one of my high schools (Hanau). (I was there till 1980). P.S. I was googling for some reunion information and stumbled into here. Did you know about the reunion?

Dennis,
Thanks for your e-mail. Yes, I did move around a lot. I was actually in four high schools and ended up graduating from Hanau High School in 1986. I hope one day to get back to the area and take my husband. I really enjoyed living in Germany. Perhaps we'll meet at the reunion in Atlanta in July 2005.
Take care,

Hi Roseann, I enjoy your segments on TV! I was just browsing your website for fashion ideas, and I must say that you have a great sense of style. In particular, the turquoise jacket that you wore in the Dress for Success photo, makes you really stand out! The colors are gorgeous and it's perfect for spring time. Where do you find such unique and original items? Thanks! Jane

Dear Jane,
Thanks so much. I love that jacket too. It's by local designer Michelle Ngo. I love her things. You can find them at Lot 8 and Couture here in Houston. I hope you can check out her clothing she's really talented and her prices are great. You can give her a buzz at 713-528-6075. Take care and thanks for taking the time to check out buzzlady.com!

Syddy was a first time visitor...
Hi...this is my first time on your site, i find it very helpful. I am going to be in my first pageant on Saturday and i was wondering if you could tell me what miss teen's have to do ((for example what are their duty's)) ? - Syddy

Good Luck! Most of the time your responsibilities will include public appearances and of course, representing your county or city in another pageant if your title goes on to another pageant. The best thing to do is ask the pageant director for more details. Each organization is different.
Take care,
