LOS ANGELES, California -- John Travolta's 16-year-old son, Jett, has died after suffering a seizure at a hotel in the Bahamas, Access Hollywood has confirmed. The actor and his family were on vacation at the Old Bahama Bay hotel on the Grand Bahama island, when Jett fell and hit his head on the bathtub, a source told Access on Friday at 10 AM PST. Michael Ossi, an attorney for the Travolta family, later confirmed the teen's death, noting that Jett had suffered a seizure, which led to the fall. "Attempts were made to revive him, but he died at the scene," Ossi said in a statement to Access. Following the incident, Jett Travolta, who Ossi said "had a history of seizures," was taken to Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas. According to a report released by Bahamian police, officers in Grand Bahama first received information around 11:40 AM local time that Jett "fell ill" and was "en route to Rand Memorial Hospital in Freeport via ambulance. Jett was one of two children for the actor and his wife, Kelly Preston. The couple also has an 8-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu.

SANTA BARBARA, California -- Heather Locklear's driving under the influence case has been dismissed after the actress pled to a lesser offense, Access Hollywood has confirmed. The matter was heard early Friday morning in a Santa Barbara courthouse, where Locklear's attorney, Blair Berk, pled no contest to a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. As a result of the plea, Berk told Access the former "Melrose Place" star must pay a $700 fine, attend a 12-hour drug education program and will be placed on three years probation. As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Locklear had been charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence of prescription drugs following her arrest on September 28. At the time of her arrest, Locklear was reportedly pulled over by a CHP officer after the actress was seen "driving erratically" upon leaving a parking lot.

Rosie O'Donnell will be sharing less opinions in 2009. On Thursday, the former talk show host posted that she's quitting her blog...on her blog: "2009 this year unplugged see what happens on we go peace out and in " O'Donnell has been writing her thoughts in haiku-style and posting video commentaries since March 2007. It's not the first time O'Donnell has tried to quit blogging. In July 2008, she took a month off to unplug as well.
